The Division of Student Affairs is looking for a talented student graphic designer to assist with creating marketing material to support the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and our 13 departments.
This is an opportunity to enhance your graphic design skills in both print and digital media serving a wide Texas A&M University audience, and also to learn more about higher education marketing. This is an on-campus position and work will be completed on-campus and in-office. Anticipated start date of August 19. Summer work may also be available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the marketing and communications team with various projects such as, but not limited to, invitations, brochures, presentations, flyers, posters, social media graphics, website updates, email marketing, digital signs, and more.
- Using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and similar software programs to make updates to existing designs, as well as have the opportunity to take the lead and create designs from concept to creation.
- Become familiar with and use the Texas A&M University brand guide and assist in maintaining a consistent look and feel for all marketing communications for the Division of Student Affairs.
- Attend marketing staff meetings and work as part of our team to achieve common project goals.
- Help out with some on-campus events as needed (2-3 times a semester)
