or Web Development to help
us complete the Counter Code website. As a temporary Graphic Artist/Web
Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating custom illustrations and configuring web pages on Wix.com. This position is ideal for a student currently pursuing a degree
and seeking to apply their
academic learning to a real-world project. The role is
designed to provide hands-on experience and insight into the processes of web
design and development with an emphasis on custom illustrations. The engagement
will conclude with the successful launch of the website, offering a unique, finite opportunity to contribute significantly to a professional project
while gaining valuable
experience in your field of study.
Responsibilities
Design and create custom illustrations, graphics,
and visual elements
that complement our website's
content and adhere to our brand's aesthetic.
Develop, configure, and update web pages using the Wix platform, ensuring
optimal functionality,
responsiveness, and user experience.
Work collaboratively with our team to understand project requirements and contribute creative
solutions to design and development challenges.
Apply
feedback and make revisions to designs and web pages as needed to meet project
objectives and deadlines.
Qualifications
Currently
enrolled in a degree program related to Graphic Design, Web Development, or a
similar field, with a strong academic record.
Basic proficiency in graphic design
software (e.g., Adobe
Creative Suite) and an interest
in learning/ working with Wix or similar web development platforms.
Strong visual
and creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate ideas
into engaging graphic and web designs.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Ability to manage time effectively and meet project
deadlines while balancing school commitments.
